KeyShot to glTF, in your browser alpha

Runs in your browser. Files never leave your computer.

Converts .ksp and .bip scenes to .glb for Blender: geometry, part names, materials, textures and labels.

Drop a .ksp or .bip file here

No KeyShot file at hand? : Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, 3D model by Halil Kantarci, CC BY 4.0.

KeyShot 6 to 14 scenes. A bare .bip can come with its texture images: select or drop them together. Large files are fine: everything is converted on this device, so the only limit is its memory.

01

What comes across

Geometry, part names and hierarchy, and a close match of each material: base colour, roughness, metal, glass and glow, with their textures and labels. Texture images a bare .bip only refers to can be added alongside it. KeyShot lighting and environments are not converted.

02

Private by design

The page is static and never contacts another site: only the optional example file is fetched, from this site itself. Your scene is read and converted by your own browser and never uploaded.

03

In Blender

Use File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres and the model comes in upright, with one object per part. Or skip the .glb: with the Blender extension, Blender opens .ksp files itself.

Blender extension, alpha

Open KeyShot files straight in Blender

The same converter as this page, built into Blender: File > Import > KeyShot, or drag a .ksp or .bip into the viewport. It works offline, and sets the scene up like the Blender kit: cleaned-up meshes, units, camera and lights.
